Stranger Wins Recognition at Italy's Future Film Fest (Updated)

Tetsuya Nakashima's surreal live-action fantasy film. The 11-year-old festival in the city of Bologna puts its spotlight on animated and live-action special effects films from around the world.
The festival's Lancia Platinum Grand Prize went to Argentina's Martin Fierro – The Movie. Last year, 5 Centimeters Per Second film won the animation grand prize.
run Sword of the Stranger in over 360 American theaters on February 5. The film centers on a nameless samurai ("Nanashi") and the boy he vows to protect from pursuing feudal factions.
