Gintama Anime to Continue for Fourth Year (Updated)

Announcement made during Thursday's episode 145 airing
The sponsor credits screen for episode 145 of the Animage magazine last month that he will not be working on the series this spring.
The Gintama action comedy follows a quirky samurai in an alternate-history Japan, where aliens overlords have banned sword-carrying. While the Gintama anime's storyline has been gradually catching up with the storyline of streaming the anime episodes the same day they aired in Japan.

Update: Sunrise has confirmed the anime's fourth year on its website on Thursday.
