Akira BD Sells 10K in Japan, 20K in NA & 30K More Projected

The Japanese media distributor Amazon.com website continues to be inundated with orders. Due to the demand in North America, an additional 10,000 copies are being produced in Japan for shipping across the Pacific by the beginning of next month. Bandai Visual had projected that 30,000 copies would eventually be sold in North America, but have now raised its projections to 50,000 copies.
