38th Japan Cartoonist Awards Announced

Children of the Sea win

The Japan Cartoonists Association of manga creators announced the winners of the 38th Japan Cartoonist Awards on May 8. The Manga Town magazine. Seiji Manga is an editorial cartoon that satires political figures in the Mainichi Shimbun paper.

The judging committee, which included Kenichi Kitami won the Literary Giant Award for his entire life's works. The actual awards ceremony will take place on June 12 at the Grand Prince Hotel Akasaka in Tokyo.
