posted on by Egan Loo
Ethics Organization of Computer Software (EOCS) during that earlier coverage, the industry group declined to be interviewed again. Then TBS "suddenly" released a second news report on Thursday that indicated that EOCS had decided to ban all games involving rape.
Abel chairman Hiroyuki Kanno also commented on the supposed rape game ban in a Friday blog entry, but his comment has since been removed. According to a transcript of the blog entry before it was deleted, all the of EOCS, including Kanno himself, were bewildered by the TBS report. While Kanno indicated that there will be tighter regulations proposed at an urgent meeting scheduled for June 2, he also emphasized that a ban had not been decided yet.
