Mythical anime prequel to launch on DVD & BD in Japan on June 24
The The Lost Canvas - Meiō Shinwa on the friendship of Tenma and Alone — the previous incarnations of the characters Pegasus Seiya and Hades who would become mortal enemies in the original Saint Seiya. The first two-episode volume will ship on DVD and Blu-ray Disc in Japan on June 24, and the VAP's website added a text description of the first episode, "Yakusoku" ("Promise").
released the anime in both its original unedited form and with DIC's television edits.
