Robot Comics has released Ubunchu!, Hiroshi Seo's manga about "the world's cutest" distribution package of the Linux operating system (OS), for free in English and Japanese for the iPhone and iPod touch this week. In this "slapstick school romantic comedy," three high school students — the fervent UNIX and club president Akane Kisaragi, the hardcore gal-game ASCII Media Works' Kantan Ubuntu! (Easy Ubuntu!) book in Japan, but it is now freely available under a Creative Commons license.
Aurora Publishing began offering josei manga on App Store last month. The story centers on an awkwardly tall girl named Michiko who develops her self-confidence and determination while becoming a runway model.
