Full 20th Century Boys Trilogy at New York Anime Fest

3rd live-action film based on Naoki Urasawa's manga premieres in NY in September
The New York Anime Festival (NYAF) has announced that the entire winning suspense manga into three live-action films. In the story, a man struggles to deal with worldwide calamities and an ominous cult — both of which have eerie similarities to the stories that he and his childhood friends dreamt up decades ago.
open in Japan until August 29, less than a month before NYAF.
Viz Pictures publish the fourth volume of the original manga in North America next month.
