Translator Schodt Receives Government Award, Speaks in L.A. (Updated)

Manga translator and scholar Ryan Sands and Asian Art Museum staffer Jennifer Yin posted photographs and videos from the ceremony.
Schodt will be speaking at appearance.
Update: The Japan Foundation event was on Monday, while the Nibei Foundation event is on Tuesday.
