Takuya Kimura to star in remake of space opera classic
74-year-old producer Uchuu Senkan Yamato Fukkatsu-hen anime film — 26 years after the last Yamato film. The biggest theme of the new anime film will be environmental issues and how humans have treated the planet Earth.
Update: More background information added.
Errata: Kimura acted in Howl's Moving Castle, but it was another actor named Taku Kimura who played Memerink in Trinity Blood. Thanks, Luly Nakazato (MiraclePunch).
