8 Fuji TV Stations to Launch Anime Shorts Next Month

Eight television stations in southwestern Japan are tly producing anime shorts which will air in February. Fukuoka's Television Nisinippon, Fuji TV will run the shorts during their commercial breaks. They also plan to offer the content on video and music distribution services for mobile phones, and eventually leverage the copyrights for character goods and DVDs.

The eight companies established a Licca-chan to Mahō no Kuni.
