The Liar Game psychological thriller manga, slipped from #2 to #3 in its second weekend. The film is set after the second television season based on the manga. It took in US$2,923,778 on 283 screens for a two-week total of US$10,832,229.
The live-action film Saru Lock action comedy manga series fell from #7 to #11 during its third weekend. The film earned US$284,449 on 226 screens for a total-to-date of US$3,101,844.
film in the Haruhi Suzumiya franchise, stayed at #13 on Box Office Mojo's chart during its sixth weekend. The film added five more screens for a total of 29 screens, and it garnered US$237,340 for a gross-to-date of US$6,671,741.
Mine Yoshizaki's manga about a frog-like alien stranded on Earth. According to Box Office Mojo, the film charted at #14 and earned US$230,069 on 144 screens for a total-to-date of US$1,420,199.
