Jules Urbach Speaks About Proposed Gaiking CG Film

The Hollywood Reporter newspaper's Heat Vision blog has posted an interview with Light Stage developer Jules Urbach regarding the proposed computer-graphics premiered at the Tokyo International Anime Fair in March. In the interview, Urbach said that the movie was currently in the pre-production stage, and added that a script should be finished in the next three months. Urbach confirmed that the movie has a potential 2012 release date, but added that the date was not set, and that it could be 2013 instead.
In the interview, Urbach also discussed how he came to Voltron, and the appeal of the giant-robot genre.
