Eva:2.22 BD's 1st Week Tops This Is It's Sales to Date

Evangelion: 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance is now #1 BD in Japan so far with 357,000
The James Cameron's Avatar film sold 198,000 copies on Blu-ray in Japan since April.)
Evangelion: 2.22 also sold 283,Ponyo's 200,000-copy record for first-week sales for an anime DVD release. All told, Evangelion: 2.22 earned 2.21 billion yen ($24 million) on Blu-ray and 1.72 billion yen (US$19 million) on DVD for a grand total of 3.93 billion yen (US$43 million) in its first week of sales.
