One Piece 59 Sells 1.85 Million to Set 1st-Week Record

Volumes 56-58 also rebound back into top-100 chart for August 2-8
The 59th volume of sold 1.691 million copies in its first week in March. The 10 latest One Piece volumes, dating back to the 50th volume in June of 2008, have each sold over 1 million copies in the first week.
Not only did the newest volume rank #1, but the last three volumes rebounded into the top-100 chart this past week. The 58th volume moved up from #41 to #21, the 57th volume moved up from #113 to #51, and the 56th volume moved up from #167 to #100.
One Piece #59 already releasing the television anime adaptation on DVD and via online streaming.
