Detective Conan manga, rose back from #2 to #1 in its third weekend. With the start of the Golden Week holidays, it increased its weekend box office take over the previous weekend; it added US$4,481,344 more on 334 screens for a new total of US$21,703,991.
Gantz manga, dropped from #1 to #2 in its second weekend. It earned the equivalent of US$4,209,206 on 375 screens for a cumulative total of US$16,349,305.
Crayon Shin-chan comedy manga, stayed at #3 on Kogyo Tsushinsha's chart but stayed at #4 on Box Office Mojo's chart. In its third weekend, it added US$2,073,896 on 325 screens to its gross-to-date of US$8,003,656.
Requiem from the Darkness), was #7 in its first weekend with US$1,143,140 on 422 screens. Since it opened two days earlier on April 28, its cumulative box office take was US$1,561,409.
