Hiroya Oku Draws Gantz Manga 1-Shot Spinoff

Gantz/Nishi focuses on Jōichirō Nishi character outside main story
Manga creator Weekly Young Jump, which shipped on Thursday. The spinoff depicts the previously unrevealed life of middle school student Jōichirō Nishi outside the deadly game of Gantz.
The magazine also notes that a Gantz exhibition is running at Tokyo's Shueisha Museum until June 30. On display in the museum are the X-Guns, Gantz Suits, Gantz Sphere, and the multi-limbed Senjukannon enemy seen in the live-action films.
The publication of the one-shot spinoff marks the theatrical release of the second live-action film opened at #1 on the Japanese charts.
releasing the 17th English volum of the manga in North America this month.
