The live-action film Gaku - Minna no Yama mountain-climbing manga dropped from #1 to #2 in its second weekend on both Kogyo Tsushinsha and Box Office Mojo's charts. According to Box Office Mojo, the film added the equivalent of US$2,352,612 on 315 screens for a new total of US$8,837,024.
Gantz manga, stayed at #3 in its fourth weekend on Kogyo Tsushinsha's chart. According to Box Office Mojo, it slipped from #2 to #3 and earned the equivalent of US$1,390,619 on 375 screens for a total of US$28,889,149.
Detective Conan manga, dropped from #2 to #4 in its fifth weekend on Kogyo Tsushinsha's chart. The film also dropped from #3 to #4 on Box Office Mojo's chart and added US$1,276,686 more on 335 screens for a new total of US$34,574,575.
Crayon Shin-chan comedy manga, fell from #5 to #7 on Kogyo Tsushinsha's chart, and dropped from #6 to #7 on Box Office Mojo's chart. In its fifth weekend, it added US$598,839 on 307 screens to its gross-to-date of US$13,438,154.
