Japanese Box Office, May 28-29

Gantz stay in top 10

Warner Brothers, the film opened at #4 on Box Office Mojo's chart on 279 screens and earned the equivalent of US$1,698,121.

The live-action Gaku - Minna no Yama (Peak - The Rescuers) dropped from #3 to #5 in its fourth week. According to Box Office Mojo, it added US$1,359,178 on 316 screens, taking its gross to US$15,702,338.

Detective Conan manga, dropped from #4 to #7 in its seventh weekend. It ranked at #8 on Box Office Mojo's chart, adding US$648,591 on 325 screens for a total of US$37,333,232.

Gantz manga, fell from #5 to #8 on Kogyo Tsushinsha's chart. According to Box Office Mojo, it ranked at #7 and added US$658,519 on 375 screens for a six-week total of US$32,407,846.

According to Box Office Mojo, Crayon Shin-chan comedy manga, fell from #8 to #12 in its seventh weekend, adding US$290,707 on 160 screens for a gross of US$14,295,582.

Onigamiden (Takafumi Takada, fell from #16 to #19, adding US$2,880 on seven screens for a five-week total of US$998,546.

The 3D computer-animated film Natsuhiko Kyōgoku, is no longer listed on either chart. The #1 spot is still taken by the new Pirates of the Carribbean film, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, now in its second week.
