Excel Saga Manga Approaches Its Finale After 15 Years

2nd-to-last chapter in latest Young King Ours issue; final book volume in October
After running for 15 years in Excel Saga manga is one chapter away from its conclusion. The confirmation of the ending came in the August issue of the magazine on Thursday. Rikudo's website also confirms that the 27th and final compiled book volume of the manga will ship in October.
Rikudo's most famous work started running in 1996, and it inspired an anime series which ran from 1999 to 2000. The story line features a secret organization called Across. Believing the world is corrupt, Across aims at world domination — with only two hapless agents named Excel Excel and Hyatt. released the anime version.
