Live-Action Kimi ni Todoke to Be Screened in Dallas

Manga-based shōjo romantic comedy screens in Annual Asian Film Festival on Sunday

Karuho Shiina, will be screened at the 10th Annual Asian Festival of Dallas on Sunday, July 17 at noon. Tickets are US$8.10 or US$9.00 with an extra online booking fee; the venue is Landmark's Magnolia Theatre at 3699 McKinney Avenue (map).

In this film directed by Naoto Kumazawa, schoolgirl Sawako Kuronuma (Ringu horror film. However, Sawako then gains new friends, and starts to come out of her shell.

Shiina's manga began in Kodansha Manga Awards that same year.
