Chatmonchy Drummer Kumiko Takahashi to Leave Band

Drummer for band who performed Hataraki Man songs
The all-female Japanese band Eriko Hashimoto and bassist Akiko Fukuoka.
Takahashi said, “I'm losing my power to move forward with music. That's fatal to creating new music, and with the gap between me and Ecchan and Akko-chan's ion, I couldn't create new songs while lying about my feelings.” Takahashi said she has not decided what to do, but that it will involve working with words.
The band's last performances as a trio will be on September 25 as part of Dream Festival! at Tokyo's Nippon Budōkan and on September 29 at Club Grindhouse in Tokushima. After Takahashi leaves, Hashimoto and Fukuoka will continue as a duo.
