The official website for the latest Tenten Hosokawa's best-selling essay manga, is slated for a nationwide theater release in Japan on October 8.
The story follows a young couple as they struggle to cope with the husband's sudden diagnosis with depression. Manga author Haru s her office worker husband Tsure as his deepening depression and suicidal thoughts darken the couple's thus-far successful marriage.
After starring in many live-action Japanese films such as Aoi Bungaku Series, plays the office worker husband.
Town of Evening Calm, Country of Cherry Blossoms, Chirusoku no natsu) is directing the film off of Takeshi Aoshima's (Hikari no Ame, Gin no Otoko: Roppongi Hosuto Densetsu) script.
The first live-action adaptation of Tenten Hosokawa's manga ran in 2009 on the Taizō Harada.
