Song Seung-heon to star in drama inspired by Motoka Murakami's manga
Song Seung-heon will star in a Korean live-action television adaptation of Jin. The Time-Slip Doctor Jin series will air in the first half of 2012. Song will play a doctor from present-day Korea who finds himself sent back to Joseon-era 1860s Korea. (In the original manga, the protagonist time-travels to the similar Bakumatsu era, the period that spelled the end of the shoguns' rule over Japan.) This appearance will mark the first live-action television series with Song in the cast in 17 months.
Jin has previously Super Jump magazine in 2010 and has been collected into 20 volumes.
