Funimation to Simulcast Kingdom TV Anime

Historical series based on Funimation on June 11

The North American anime distributor Kingdom television anime series. Funimation will begin streaming the series on its website on June 11, and new episodes will begin streaming on Mondays at 11:00 a.m. EDT.

The 38-episode series premiered in Japan on June 4 with a 50-minute first episode.

Based on manga, the series follows Li Xin and Hyō, two boys without families in the Warring States Period when China has been embroiled in war for five centuries. Despite living like slaves, the boys strive to realize their dream of becoming warlords.

Elemental Gelade) is in charge of series scripts.

The manga has been running in shipped in Japan last month.
