Images of Comic Market 83 (C83) have appeared online Tadatoshi Fujimaki and a threat made directly to the Comic Market event back in October. The organisers of Comic Market disqualified and refunded all Kuroko's Basketball circles and requested that other circles do not distribute Kuroko's Baskeball dōjinshi, goods and other materials after police recommendation to do so. About 900 circles had reserved tables to sell related goods and this is about 8% of the total number of circles (11,700). This is the first time in Comic Market's 37 year history it has exercised "self-restraint" on such a large scale.
However after day 2 of Comic Market, three threat notes were left in the Kuroko's Basketball area after organisers allowed the public to utilise the area to rest. While the discovery placed Comic Market on highest alert for day 3, the committee consider the three new letters to be copycat threats.
