Maiden Japan Adds Ballad of a Shinigami Anime

6-episode series based on Keisuke Hasegawa's light novels to get digital, bilingual DVD release
The North American anime licensing company Section23 Films to release the series digitally and on a bilingual DVD.
Akiko Kobayashi as Momo. The show originally aired in Japan in 2006.
The show is based on K-Ske Hasegawa (Nanakusa's original light novel series, which revolves around Momo, a death god dressed in white who wields a blunt scythe and has a winged black cat named Daniel at her side. Unlike other death gods, Momo opens her heart to those who cross over to the other side.
Asuka Izumi's three-volume manga version of the series in North America.
