Godzilla Remake Begins Shooting With Actor Ken Watanabe

Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai, Letters to Iwo Jima, Memoirs of a Geisha) is ing the cast of Gareth Edward's Godzilla remake. The principal photography for the film began in Vancouver, British Columbia on Monday.
The studios also confirmed the previously Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad, Argo).
Johnson's character is described as a member of the military. Olson will play his girlfriend, Cranston his step-father, and Strathairn another military member.
The film is slated to open on May 16, 2014.
