Maruko-chan Animated in 3D CG for Shizuoka Song

Shizuoka celebrities collaborate on promotional music video and song
Chibi Maruko-chan character has teamed up with city of Shizuoka in a promotional campaign. Sakura hails from Shizuoka herself, and her character has teamed up with the city in a song and dance video to show .
The song's lyrics reference local dishes and ingredients, such as oden, wasabi, oranges, motsu curry, sakura shrimp, sardines, and tuna. The project was put together by the city and other Shizuoka native celebrities. Papaya Suzuki put together the choreography, and Hiromitsu Akiba of MOGRAPHIXX animated the music video.
