Macross Frontier Blu-ray Box to Include New Drama CD

Shōji Kawamori with technology that did not exist when the anime first aired. The box's website shows the differences before and after the remastering.
The video bonuses include four new music videos created from the pachinko and pachi-slo game footage, five Banpresto's Ichiban Kuji and Prize promotional footage, the pre-broadcast promotional video, a collection of commercials, and the clean opening and ending animation sequences.
The audio bonuses include new audio commentaries by the staff and cast, as well as the audio commentaries for nine episodes from the earlier Blu-ray and DVD releases. Other extras include a new drama CD, a 100-page booklet, an exclusive 72-page illustration collection, and 48 pages of storyboards for the first and second opening sequences. Character designer Risa Ebata will draw the new box art, and she and Kawamori will draw the inner jacket art. The box will have the December 2012 preview version of the first episode and the later complete version.
