Toranoana Stores' Parent Acquires Game Maker Aquaplus

The game maker Naoya Shimokawa will remain at his post.

The AQUAPLUS software library includes White Album — all of which have inspired anime. In addition to its eponymous brand, AQUAPLUS also has the Leaf game brand, and it is involved in music and video production/sales. AQUAPLUS was established on May 1, 1996, and it has 61 million yen ($620,000) in capital and 66 employees as of April 1.

The Yumenosora Group's current core company is Toranoana, the Japanese retail chain best known for selling Hirotaka Yoshida, is also the CEO of Yumenosora Holdings.) Toranoana was established on July 22, 1996, and it has 20 million yen ($200,000) in capital and 840 employees.
