Sherlock Bones' Yuki Sato to Launch Tomodachi Game Manga Next Month

The December issue of Scumbag Loser) is providing the series' original concept. The "brain battle competition" manga will open with color pages.
The story centers on Yūichi Katagiri, a young man with a perfect student life who has four friends with difficult lives. His peaceful daily life comes to an end when 2 million yen ($20,000) in school trip fees goes missing. Riddles unfold as Yūichi gets caught up in a mysterious game for money and must decide whether friendship or money matters more.
Sato launched the 15-volume licensed the series for release in North America, and the first volume shipped in September.
The January 2014 issue of Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine will also launch Ryūhaku Nagata's Abyss manga. The manga centers on a "certain death" death game where the protagonists must escape from a mysterious institution.
