Fumito Ueda Works on Secret Project, Apologizes for Last Guardian Delay

Game developer Fumito Ueda told the Edge magazine that he is still working on "The Last Guardian and the rest is secret." When asked about his last eight years, he said that he feels "terribly sorry that for various reasons I have kept my audience waiting for such a long time."

He explained that he decided to leave Sony's reaction to his departure, he said, "It was not easy, but I can't go into the details just yet. It will be good to be able to discuss it along with a post-mortem of The Last Guardian someday."

Ueda said in June that the game is still in active development.
