Yōkai Watch Game Gets Shōjo Manga in Ciao

Chikako Mori to draw story of girl who with ability to see yōkai after finding watch
The January issue of Shogakukan's Chikako Mori (Deko Chia Win!, Charm Angel, Waza Ari Kiwami-chan) will draw the manga. The preview image features a female protagonist who has the ability to see yōkai (Japanese ghosts and demons) after obtaining a yōkai watch.
Game developer Level 5 choose to play as a male or female protagonist to befriend supernatural creatures around town and use them in battle against other creatures.
The anime adaptation will TV Tokyo on January 8.
