The Wind Rises Nominated For Chicago Critics & Critics' Choice Awards

The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) announced its nominees for the 19th Annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards on Monday, and The CW Network will broadcast the awards show live on January 16.
Additionally, the Chicago Film Critics Association (CFCA) announced on Saturday that The Wind Rises is nominated in Best Foreign-Language Film and Best Animated Feature categories. Studio Ghibli and From Up On Poppy Hill is also nominated in the Best Animated Feature category. The CFCA will announce its winners tonight.
The Wind Rises centers on Jirō Horikoshi (Tatsuo Hori, the author of an earlier novel titled Kaze Tachinu.
Disney will open across the United States in February.
The Wind Rises has been and a Satellite Award.
The Wind Rises has won the Best Animated Film Award from the New York Film Critics Circle, The National Board of Review, The Boston Society of Film Critics, and the San Diego Film Critics Society, and was the runner-up in The Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards' Best Animation category.
From Up On Poppy Hill was screening it in theaters.
