Crunchyroll to Stream Strange+ Gag Anime

Slapstick series about detective agency premieres on January 9

Media distribution service Strange+ slapstick gag manga. The company will stream the series on Thursdays starting on January 9 at 12:30 p.m. EST for worldwide outside of Japan. Free s worldwide outside of Japan will be able to watch new episodes one week later.

The series revolves around a teenaged boy named Kō, who came to the slums to search for Takumi, his missing big brother who ran away six years ago. The brothers reunite, and it turns out that Takumi now heads the Mikuni Detective Agency. Kō wants to bring Takumi back, but he doesn't want go back home himself. So, he starts working at the agency, doing odds and ends.

The manga's drama CD cast will be reprising their respective roles for the anime:

Tomokazu Seki as Kō

Jun Fukuyama as Takumi

Ryōtarō Okiayu as Masamune, a suave, macho, a very buff staff member at the agency

Satsuki Yukino as Miwa, the agency's secretary whose weapon of choice is knives

Shoko Nagahiro as Rusty Nail, a female thief whose true identiy is unknown

Recorder and Randsell Re) is deg the characters.

The staff also includes:

Music: G Angle
Production: Dream Creation
Sound Production: Dax Production

Fukuyama performs the theme song "Beauty Boy" as his character Takumi.

The series of five-minute shorts will premiere in Japan on January 9.

Mikawa launched the manga in the inaugural issue of Zero-Sum in 2002, and has been drawing it ever since. Zero-Sum Online website on November 10 and December 10.
