New Battle Angel Alita/Gunnm Manga to Start in 2014

Battle Angel Alita: Last Order will end on January 28
Manga creator Yukito Kishiro announced on his blog on Wednesday that he will start a new GUNNM manga series in the second half of 2014. The series is tentatively titled Kasei Senki (The Martian War Chronicles). He is also planning to publish an art collection book this year.
The second 2014 issue of Battle Angel Alita: Last Order (GUNNM: Last Order) manga will end in the next chapter on January 28.

Kodansha released the 18th compiled volume of Battle Angel Alita: Last Order in Japan in April. Viz Media originally published the first 15 volumes in North America until Kishiro switched publishers in 2011.
