Contest to Design Cover for New Akira Book

The Macmillan. Entrants will need to 'Interpret the themes, characters, locations or motifs of the film to create a striking and original artwork.' They can use any media to create the artwork, which can be in one, two or full colour. More details, the entry form and the and conditions can all be found here.
The closing date for entries is March 14 2014. The winning artwork will feature on the cover of the special edition of the book. The winners will receive nine newly-published "BFI Film Classics' books (including Akira), as well as the BFI book Anime: A History by Jonathan Clements.
The Akira book will be published in October 2014. Like the other eight new books, it will coincide with a 'major BFI Science Fiction season.' It is written by David Lynch.
The 'BFI Film Classics' is a long-running series of books, usually only around 100 pages long, each of which looks at a landmark cinema film.
