Live-Action Crows Explode Film's Promo Streamed

Film inspired by Hiroshi Takahashi's school-brawl manga will open in theaters on April 12

A promotional video for Crows fighting manga, began streaming on Monday.

The video briefly introduces the two previous films in the series, and then previews the cast for the newest installment. The narrator says that they are Crows, and that no matter what kind of sky, they will fly.

The film will open in Japanese theaters on April 12.

Prince of Tennis: Eikoku-shiki Teikyū-jō Kessen!) plays first-year student Ryōhei "Joker" Kagami, who aims to reach the top of the Suzuran pecking order. Yūya Yagira (Nobody Knows) will play third-year student Toru "King" Gōra, who sits near the "top" of Suzuran.

The film also stars the following cast: Ryō Katsuji as "Funny Face," Tsutomu Takahashi as Takashi Makise.

Director Crows Zero II.

Gokusen) as high school delinquent Genji Takiya. Crows Zero II was set eight months after the first schoolyard-brawl film as Genji faces graduation.

The original Crows manga ran for 26 volumes, and released both Crows Zero and Crows Zero II in the United Kingdom.
