Kikaider Reboot Film's 5-Second Teaser Streamed

Film to open in Japan on May 24
A five-second teaser for the shows the hero Kikaider in action.
The film's story will take place in a future where the "Ark Project" uses robots to solve problems that the Japanese government can't solve with human power alone. When robot engineering expert Nobuhiko Komyoji dies, his rivals steal his plans and start causing chaos until a conscious robot Jiro (Kikaider), created by Komyoji, appears as the hero.
Daisuke Ban, who starred as the protagonist Jiro, as psychologist Kyujiro Maeno.
SHINOBI - Heart Under Blade, Blood) is directing the film. The script was developed over a period of two years.
The film, which is a remake of the 1970s Jinzou Ningen open in Japan on May 24.
