The Grudge Gets Hollywood Reboot with Producer Sam Raimi

New film to remake Shimizu's 2004 U.S. film, which itself was inspired by Shimizu's 2002 Japanese film

Juon: The Grudge.

Jeff Buhler (Midnight Meat Train) is drafting the script with production companies Nathan Kahane are signed on as executive producers.

Still another Grudge film, Ju-on: Owari no Hajimari (The Grudge: Beginning of the End) horror film will open in Japanese theaters on June 28.
