Bandai Namco to Remove Tales of Phantasia iOS App

iTunes for its Tales of Phantasia English app noting that it will cease distribution of the app on August 28. At that time, the app, in-app purchases, and save data will all become unusable. Bandai Namco Games will also stop selling in-app purchases on July 29.
Bandai Namco Games released the iOS version of its Tales of Phantasia game for iPad and iPhone in North America in January. The game is free to play with additional add-ons available for purchase. The game includes voice-overs for "important events of the game," the main scenario, and battles, although it does not have the original opening theme song. The company released the game for iOS in Japan in September 2013.
Bandai Namco Games removed the Japanese iOS release on May 29 "due to various circumstances."
Tales of Phantasia is the first title in Funimation re-released the OAV in 2008.
