Nintendo to Release Smartphone App With Mii in 2015

Game maker delays app from this year to polish it more
During a question-and-answer session for the financial results of the 2014-2015 fiscal year's second quarter, Satoru Iwata reported that his company is developing an app for smart devices that uses Mii avatars. Nintendo had originally planned to release the app this year, but decided to release it next year to develop it further.
Iwata explained that when Nintendo releases a smart device app for the first time, he thinks it will draw the attention of many people who will try ing it. Rather than release something half-finished for them this year, Nintendo plans on polishing the app a little bit more.
Iwata launched a Camp Pokémon app last month.
