The Last -Naruto the Movie-'s Sasuke, Kakashi Character Designs Unveiled

Designs for December 6 film were first shown at Jump Anime Festa earlier this month; Kiyomi Asai also reprises role of Hanabi

This year's 51st issue of Masashi Kishimoto. The designs premiered at the Jump Anime Festa last weekend in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.

[The note by Sasuke's design reads, "His facial features have gotten even sharper!," while Kakashi's design reads, "Kakashi has become the 6th Hokage!"]

The December issue of Kiyomi Asai will reprise her role as Hinata's sister, Hanabi. Asai has not played the role since appearing in one episode in 2010.

novelization:

The moon has begun moving closer to Earth! As it is, the moon will crumble and meteorites will rain down on Earth's surface. As the last days of Earth approach, Hanabi Hyūga is abducted by a mysterious man in Konoha, and Naruto, Sakura, Sai, Shikamaru, and Hinata set off on a rescue mission! Can Naruto and the others overcome this crisis?

The Last -Naruto the Movie- will contributing the main theme song as well as voice-acting ninja.

Those who see The Last -Naruto the Movie- in theaters will Naruto manga creator Masashi Kishimoto. Weekly Shonen Jump teases that the back of the book will feature a mysterious illustration.

The Naruto manga by Masashi Kishimoto ended in Shonen Jump on Monday after 15 years of serialization. A new mini-series by Kishimoto with "a newly budding Konoha story" will launch next spring.
