Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Sui Replaces Eri Kitamura in Cast Due to Health Issue

Rina Satō to take over Chisato Saeki role in PS3/Vita port with full-voicing

Game developer Kaga Create announced that Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Sui voice cast, due to Kitamura's poor health during production. Kitamura had played Chisato Saeki, Natsumi's classmate, in the earlier Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kizuna release.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Sui, a PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita port, will ship on March 12 in Japan. The physical PlayStation 3 version will retail for 7,980 yen ($68), and the able version will sell for 7,000 yen ($60). The physical PlayStation Vita version will retail for 6,980 yen ($59), and the able version for 6,000 yen ($51).

The game is a complete port that contains all past scenarios that were included in previous versions of the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni game. The new version will also have new features, such as cross platform saving, and will be full-voiced.

Original creator Ryūkishi07 and his released a new installment in the series titled Higurashi no Naku Koro ni in August.

07th Expansion's original Higurashi no Naku Koro ni visual novel software launched for PC in 2002 and revolved around murders that coincide with an annual festival in a quiet rural village. The software inspired two television anime adaptations by several artists.
