Funimation to Stream Yurikuma Arashi Anime

The series will Tokyo MX TV. Funimation did not immediately announce when it will begin streaming the series.

Funimation describes the story:

After an asteroid explosion and meteor shower lit up the sky over planet earth, strange adorable bears began to attack and devour humans. The earthlings responded with violence of their own, and in the end, a massive barrier – the Wall of Extinction – was erected to separate man from bear. This fragile peace lasted until two high school girls encounter a yuri flower blooming – only to be shaken by the piercing warning of the Bear Alarm! Once again, bear and man- or bear and girl -will be pitted against each other in a deadly and mysterious showdown—brought to you buy Kunihiko Ikuhara, the director of Revolutionary Girl Utena

The cast stars:

Arashigaoka Academy. However, this girl's true identity is a man-eating bear!

Yoshiko Ikuta as Ruru Yurigazaki, a girl who transferred with Ginko

Nozomi Yamane as Kureha Tsubaki, a second-year student who goes to Arashigaoka Academy

Junichi Suwabe as Life Sexy, the presiding judge of the "Judgemens" [sic]

Mitsuki Saiga as Life Cool, the prosecutor of the "Judgemens"

Kazutomi Yamamoto as Life Beauty, the defense lawyer of the "Judgemens"

Yui Ogura as Sumika Izumino, a glasses-wearing girl who goes to Arashigaoka Academy

Aoi Yūki as Mitsuko Yurizono, a classmate of Kureha and Sumika, and the class president

Ami Koshimizu as Konomi Yurikawa, Kureha's classmate who goes to Arashigaoka Academy

An advance screening event was held with Ikuhara and Arakawa on December 7 at Tokyo's Kadokawa Cinema Shinjuku.
