Hanabee Licenses Akame Ga Kill and Adds Entire Series to Streaming Website

Akame ga KILL! as their first new title.

Today Hanabee announced they will be running a monthly anime block with entire series being added to Hanabee.com.au for free streaming. The block is Hanabee's Summer of Anime update which includes new acquisition Akane Ga Kill!. Hanabee has confirmed with ANN will receive a Blu-ray and DVD home video release at some point in the future. All of the titles have had their entire series added to Hanabee.com.au for streaming, they include;

Hanabee has also (quietly) added the first episode of Aldnoah.Zero season 2, you can watch the episode here.

Akame ga KILL!

Tatsumi is a well-intentioned country bumpkin with a talent for fighting who leaves his remote village to save it by raising money in the Imperial City. However when he arrives Tatsumi quickly discovers that the Imperial City is filled with unimaginable amounts of corruption and ends up losing everything including his friends. Now in order to accomplish his original mission and protect his village he s up with the group of assassins known as Night Raid who aim to remove the corrupt regime that governs the country.

Based on the manga by Takahiro with art by Tetsuya Tashiro, Akame ga KILL! was directed by JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Gatchaman Crowds) composed the music.

The 24 episode series premiered on streamed the series as it aired in Japan.

Akame ga KILL! began as a manga in Square Enix's Monthly announced that it will release the original manga in North America and the first volume will be released this January.

Hanabee will be releasing Akame ga KILL! on Blu-ray and DVD at some point in the near future.
