Knights of Sidonia: Battle for Planet Nine Previewed in TV Ad

Sequel series will premiere in April
Japanese television station Knights of Sidonia anime on Friday.
The text in the commercial reads: "1000 years since the destruction of the solar system... The battle comes to Planet Nine."
The second season, titled Sidonia no Kishi: Dai-kyū Wakusei Seneki (Sadayuki Murai is returning to be in charge of the series scripts.
CustomiZ will perform the ending theme "Requiem."
The theatrical film opening on March 6 will be a compilation of all 12 episodes of the season with new sequences and redone sound effects.
The first TV anime season premiered in Japan last April and premiered the English version streaming in July.
