Eir Aoi Performs The Heroic Legend of Arslan TV Anime's Ending

"Lapis Lazuli" single ships in Japan on April 22

The official website for Sword Art Online second opening theme) will perform the anime's ending theme song.

Aoi will perform the song "Lapis Lazuili," which will be composed and arranged by Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse ending theme). Kato and Aoi are collaborated to write the lyrics for the song.

The single will be released in Japan on April 22. A first pressing edition of the CD will come with a DVD and will retail for 1,600 yen ($14), a limited edition CD will cost 1,400 yen ($12), and a normal edition of the CD will retail for 1,300 yen ($11).

The cast of the anime will star:

  • KENN as Gieves
  • Maaya Sakamoto as Falangies
  • Yūki Kaji as Silvermask

  • The staff includes:

    Iwashiro composed the theme song "The Arslan," which he will debut at his April 4 concert at Tokyo Opera City's Concert Hall.

    The anime will premiere on Sunday, April 5 at 5:00 p.m. in Japan.

    In the prosperous kingdom of Pars lies the Royal Capital of Ecbatana, a city of splendor and wonder, ruled by the undefeated and fearsome King Andragoras. Arslan is the young and curious prince of Pars who, despite his best efforts, doesn't seem to have what it takes to be a proper king like his father.

    At the age of 14, Arslan goes to his first battle and loses everything as the blood-soaked mist of war gives way to scorching flames, bringing him to face the demise of his once glorious kingdom. However, it is Arslan's destiny to be a ruler, and despite the trials that face him, he must now embark on a journey to reclaim his fallen kingdom.
