Fate Is #1 Franchise in Collective CD, Book, Video Sales for March

Media statistics company Oricon posted a chart on Thursday of the top franchises in Japan in of cumulative CD, book, and video sales for the month of March. The Fate series topped the list, earning 1,536.5 million yen ($12.7 million).
The Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works limited edition Blu-ray box set shipped in Japan on March 25, contributing to this total.
AKB48 idol group, with 1,192.0 million yen ($9.9 million).
